Rob Coyte is a highly experienced financial advisor with a career spanning over 25 years. His extensive background in commercial banking, financial markets, stockbroking, and financial planning makes him a valuable asset to Wealth Built Right. Rob began his career with Westpac, where he accumulated five years of experience in Commercial Banking and Financial Markets before transitioning to the financial planning sector in 1999, doing his training with AMP.
In 2008, Rob achieved a significant milestone by successfully applying for his own Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). Four years later, he became the Chief Executive Officer of Shartru Wealth Management, the AFSL under which Wealth Built Right operates. In this role, Rob has been pivotal in shaping the firm’s advisory and compliance frameworks. His dedication to excellence and client-centric approach has earned him a stellar reputation in the industry.
Rob’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. His career is marked by his involvement in Investment Advisory Committees and Compliance Committees for holders of AFS Licences, showcasing his deep understanding of the financial regulatory landscape.
In April 2024, Rob joined Wealth Built Right as a director and financial adviser, stepping in to continue the legacy of Terry Powell. Rob is passionate about providing personalised financial advice and helping clients achieve their financial goals.
